July 8th marked the end of the MBA for me and the rest of the London Business School JEMBA2010 class (January intake of the executive MBA). The last 18 months have been intense, challenging, exciting, frustrating, and introspective. I originally did the MBA to learn some business skills and gain a network. I have definitely succeeded at both but I never would have imagined that the MBA would give me so much more. The 77 people in my class have taught me so much about business and about life. I may not call them all friends, but they have all had an impact on me. I have been so impressed by many of my classmates’ drive, intelligence, tenacity, generosity, and empathy. I have standing invitations to be hosted in Malaysia, Pakistan, Turkey, India, and several other countries.
These months have also been filled with many changes.
